Well, theres also reports of Motherships solo camping gates and ratting. What the hell are you gonna do when you jump into a system while comuting and get locked by a Mom???
Both Titans and Motherships need to have more weakness. One of the intentions behind the DD is to help prevent blob-warfare. CCP figured that if a fleet of 200 know that theres a Titan pilot just itching to pull the trigger on his DD, that maybe they won't hang out in a single large group. This would provide a need for new tactics favoring smaller groups. At this point, it has yet to happen.
So, what I've been thinking, is that the Super-Capitals need to have a much more significant reliance on their support fleet. Each Titan would require a certain amount of "Support Command Ships" (maybe the much longed for Tech 2 BS?). Now, roleplaying, these ships would help corrodinate the support, leaving the Titan crew to do it's work. Out of roleplay, these ships would provide bonuses to the support fleet, and would give the opposing fleet something to aim for. While the Titan has it's full compliment of Support Command Ships, it would effectively be invulnerable, much as it is now. But if the opposing force could get past the support, immobilize and destroy the SCS, the Titan would effectively be immoblized, and ready to have the Dreads brought in to take it out. Now the only way for the Titan to get out would be to get in, say, 4 SCS within a minimum distance, and they it could cyno out to whatever destination.
Also, I've always wondered why it's just as easy to cyno out a Mom or Titan, when they are waaaaay larger than the Dreads and Carriers. It needs to be much more difficult. Say, a more advanced (thus more skills required) Super-Capital Cyno Generator. And there would need to be a minimum of 4 SCS ships present at the Titan/Mom.
One last thing I'm not sure of. I know that when a Titan pilot lets a DD go, it gives the 15 minute aggro timer. Does this timer prevent the Titan from being able to cyno? If not, it should.
These are just ideas. I'm sure theyre plenty of flaws, but it could be the beginning.
